When the ExcelTips newsletter was first published in 1998, the computing world was quite a bit different than it is today. Computers were much less powerful and the Internet was just coming into wide use. During the eleven years since its debut, the newsletter has grown to over 45,600 subscribers, with hundreds of new subscribers joining each week.

Well, I finally was able to figure out how I wanted to add video to the main Tips.Net site. Whenever you visit the site, you’ll see two of our videos displayed, at random, for your tip-viewing pleasure.

One member of the Tips.Net family, Cleaning.Tips.Net, has been going strong for just over two years. The site boasts over 1,500 unique visitors per day. In addition, we publish a regular weekly newsletter for the site that goes out to well over 3,600 subscribers per week.

Well, the site just passed a major milestone—there are now over 1,000 tips available on the site. This makes Cleaning.Tips.Net one of the Web’s most comprehensive, focused sites about cleaning. It includes information on cleaning everything from concrete to silk and removing just about any stain you can think of.

We are confident that Cleaning.Tips.Net will continue to grow as new content becomes available. We also invite you to come along for the ride!

Just received word–the number of subscribers to ExcelTips just hit 40,000. That’s an all-time high for the publication, and something I think all of the Tips.Net folks can be proud of.

If you don’t subscribe to ExcelTips (and you use Microsoft Excel), you really should check it out. The publication comes out weekly (every Saturday morning) and the site (excel.tips.net) contains over 1,500 tips, tricks, techniques, and ideas on how to use the software better than ever.

If you decide to subscribe, you can use the sign-up box in the upper-right corner of any page on the site.

Well, we’ve just added a new site at Tips.Net. This one is focused on information about weddings. Got a wedding coming up in your future? How about someone in your family, a friend, or a co-worker? We just launched the site, and it already has a lot of great info on things you can apply right away to make “the big day” bigger and better than ever.

I woke up the other day and was heading to work and notcied that almost everything the world had to offer sent pains through my head :)! I knew I could buy medicane but I was on my way to work. So I had my almost broken Iphone with me and decided to look things up on tips.net. I really enjoy how non-complicated it is when reading the tips. While at work I was able to get into a dark part of the resteraunt and hide for awhile which helped during my shift. I soon as I was able to get home I pulled the shades down put my head under the covers (felt 10 years old again) and went to sleep.

Periodically I take a look at different milestones in the Tips.Net network. I look at how many visitors we get, how many subscribers we have, and how many articles are posted on the various sites.

This morning I noticed that the cleaning site now has over 700 articles. That’s a lot of cleaning! There are tips for cleaning all sorts of stains and all sorts of surfaces. The site regularly gets over 1,000 visitors a day viewing almost 2,000 articles.

In addition, the home improvement site just passed over 200 articles, and it is growing quickly. I anticipate it won’t be long before it is up to 300 articles or more.

If you have any suggestions for improvement to the Tips.Net sites, I’d love to hear about them.
