It wasn’t that long ago that ExcelTips passed the 50,000 subscriber mark—only six and a half months ago, to be precise. And here we are with 20% subscriber growth in that time. Subscriptions continue to climb, with the list passing the 60,000 mark today.

Published weekly since 1998, the ExcelTips newsletter started with a small group of individuals seeking to improve their use of Microsoft’s premier spreadsheet program. As 2009 draws to a close, the newsletter reached a significant benchmark: over 50,000 subscribers.

“ExcelTips has always been a passion for me,” indicated its publisher, Allen Wyatt. “The program is powerful, but finding that power among all the menus, ribbons, and functions can be a challenge. That’s where ExcelTips has traditionally come into play.”

When the ExcelTips newsletter was first published in 1998, the computing world was quite a bit different than it is today. Computers were much less powerful and the Internet was just coming into wide use. During the eleven years since its debut, the newsletter has grown to over 45,600 subscribers, with hundreds of new subscribers joining each week.

One member of the Tips.Net family, Cleaning.Tips.Net, has been going strong for just over two years. The site boasts over 1,500 unique visitors per day. In addition, we publish a regular weekly newsletter for the site that goes out to well over 3,600 subscribers per week.

Well, the site just passed a major milestone—there are now over 1,000 tips available on the site. This makes Cleaning.Tips.Net one of the Web’s most comprehensive, focused sites about cleaning. It includes information on cleaning everything from concrete to silk and removing just about any stain you can think of.

Just received word–the number of subscribers to ExcelTips just hit 40,000. That’s an all-time high for the publication, and something I think all of the Tips.Net folks can be proud of.

I woke up the other day and was heading to work and notcied that almost everything the world had to offer sent pains through my head ! I knew I could buy medicane but I was on my way to work. So I had my almost broken Iphone with me and decided to look things up on tips.net. I really enjoy how non-complicated it is when reading the tips. While at work I was able to get into a dark part of the resteraunt and hide for awhile which helped during my shift. I soon as I was able to get home I pulled the shades down put my head under the covers (felt 10 years old again) and went to sleep.
